On July 15, 2026, SHARE3DCAM joined Guangdong Industry Polytechnic University (GDIPU) in Tuocheng, Longchuan County, Heyuan, Guangdong Province, to support a field-based 3D digitization project at Longchuan Examination Hall, a historic building connected to the region's imperial examination culture.
The collaboration brought together university-led cultural innovation, on-site reality capture, and SHARE3DCAM's 3D scanning and 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) workflow. This field activity was part of the "Chuangxing Tuocheng" initiative led by the GDIPU team under Guangdong Province's broader "Hundreds, Thousands and Ten Thousands Project." The team had previously won the Gold Award in the 15th "Challenge Cup" Guangdong College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition with its proposal, Entering the Qin and Han Dynasties: An Immersive Short Drama Tourism Innovation Plan for Tuocheng Ancient Town.
For the project to move from concept to implementation, accurate spatial data became an important foundation.
